1. Introductory provisions
1.1 These terms and conditions (hereinafter the “T&C”) govern the mutual rights and obligations of the contracting parties arising in connection with the conclusion of a purchase contract or a contract for the provision of services between the operator (hereinafter the “Seller”) and a natural or legal person (hereinafter the “Buyer”) through the web application available at https://eduplace.cz (hereinafter the “Platform”).
1.2 The T&C apply to the purchase of online courses, live online broadcasts (webinars), recordings of those broadcasts and supplementary materials (hereinafter the “Digital Content”) through the Platform.
1.3 The legal relations between the Seller and the Buyer are governed by these T&C and, to the extent not covered by them, by Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection.
2. Definitions
- Course — structured digital educational content made up of lessons (videos, texts, materials).
- Live broadcast (Live) — a video conference at a previously announced time led by a trainer.
- Trainer — a natural person engaged by the operator to lead educational content.
- Consumer — a natural person entering into a contract outside the scope of their business activity.
3. Conclusion of the contract and registration
3.1 To purchase Digital Content, the Buyer creates a user account by entering an email address, a name and a password (or via a sign-in link sent by email).
3.2 The contract between the Seller and the Buyer is concluded at the moment the payment is successfully credited to the Seller's account through the Stripe payment gateway, or, in the case of free access, at the moment the purchase is confirmed.
3.3 After the contract is concluded, the Buyer receives a purchase confirmation at the email address provided, together with a link to the content made available.
4. Price and payment terms
4.1 The price of Digital Content is always stated with the individual course on the Platform. The Seller is not a VAT payer; prices are final.
4.2 Payment is made exclusively electronically through the payment gateway Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland). The Seller has no access to payment card details.
4.3 After a successful payment a tax document (invoice) is issued to the Buyer; it is available in their user account and sent by email.
4.4 Promo codes and discounts are valid only under the conditions set for the specific code (validity period, maximum number of uses).
5. Delivery of digital content
5.1 Purchased Digital Content is made available to the Buyer immediately after successful payment in their user account at https://eduplace.cz/learn/.
5.2 For Live courses the link to join the broadcast is available in the user account from 60 minutes before the start until the end of the broadcast. The recording is made available immediately after the end or within 7 days at the latest.
5.3 Access to a course is lifelong unless stated otherwise with the specific course. The Seller reserves the right to update, modify or supplement the content.
5.4 The Buyer acknowledges that using the content requires a stable internet connection and standard technical equipment (computer/tablet/phone, browser).
6. Withdrawal from the contract
6.1 In accordance with Section 1837(l) of the Civil Code, the Buyer acknowledges that they have no right to withdraw from the contract for the delivery of digital content if it was delivered with the Buyer's prior express consent before the expiry of the withdrawal period and the Seller informed them of this fact before the contract was concluded.
6.2 By clicking the “Buy” button, the Buyer expressly agrees that the content will be made available immediately and waives the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days.
6.3 Money-back guarantee: If, after looking into the content, the Buyer finds that the course does not suit them, they may within 14 days of purchase request a refund by email at jsem@martin-sabata.cz. This guarantee applies only where the Buyer has not viewed more than 30% of the course content. This guarantee goes beyond the statutory obligation.
6.4 For Live courses, withdrawal is possible up to 24 hours before the start of the broadcast with a full refund. After that the course is deemed to have started.
7. Complaints
7.1 Complaints can be made by email at jsem@martin-sabata.cz. A complaint will be handled within 30 days of its delivery.
7.2 Grounds for complaint: content not delivered, technical problems preventing viewing, content not matching the description.
7.3 In the case of a justified complaint the Buyer is entitled to free removal of the defect, a discount on the price or withdrawal from the contract.
8. Intellectual property rights
8.1 All content on the Platform (texts, videos, audio, graphics, design) is protected by copyright law. The Buyer obtains a personal, non-transferable licence to use it solely for their own educational purposes.
8.2 The Buyer undertakes not to distribute the content, not to transfer it to third parties, not to publish it, not to download it for further distribution and not to share access credentials. Breaching this undertaking may lead to immediate cancellation of the account with no right to a refund and to claims for damages.
8.3 For Live courses, recording the broadcast without the Seller's express consent is prohibited.
9. Personal data protection
9.1 The processing of the Buyer's personal data is governed by a separate document Personal data protection (GDPR).
10. Final provisions
10.1 The Seller reserves the right to change the T&C at any time. A change takes effect on publication on the Platform. Contracts already concluded are governed by the wording of the T&C in force at the time the contract was concluded.

10.3 These T&C take effect on 23 May 2026.
